Snow in Calabria

Plenty of snow again this February in Calabria, and it is creating plenty of inconvenience and even danger in the areas less prepared for it. Not so in the Sila, where the ski pistes have been busy this weekend.

Popular places for skiing in Calabria are Camigliatello, Lorica, Palumbosila, Lago Ampollino and Botte Donato.
