Lamezia Terme

Lamezia Terme is home of the international airport of Calabria and the area is is known for it's large, white beaches.

The council of Lamezia actually consists of three seperate villages Nicastro, Sambiase and Sant'Eufemia Lamezia each with their own towncenter and railway station.

The area is rich for agricultural produce (grapes, flowers, citrus and vegetables) and known for fine Calabrian wines such as Lamezia Riserva by Statti which comes highly recommended.
