Briatico

Briatico is a tranquil fishing village on the beautiful coast between Lamezia and Capo Vaticano, popular for it's beaches and established holiday resorts.

At the end of a long and panoramic boulevard you will find the remains of a millenium old watchtower, La Rocchetta, part of a network of defense watchtowers going back to ancient Greek times. 

Village life is centered around the townsquare and it's cafe's and restaurants that come to life in the summer. The town has all facilities required for a pleasant stay with a choice of restaurants, bars, shops and beach resorts.

The origins of Briatico go back to circa 1200, when it was founded with the name Euriatikon.
